What better way to prepare yourself for the upcoming Deepavali Festival of Lights than to indulge in some spicy, rich, and flavourful Indian dishes for an early celebration? Look no further Malaysians, as The Chicken Rice Shop (TCRS) is back with another tantalising Deepavali menu from 21 September 2020 – 15 November 2020 to satiate those cravings!
Inspired by the aromas of Indian cuisine, The Chicken Rice Shop puts in careful consideration to recreate and replicate the flavourful dish in this exclusive Deepavali menu. So if you are looking for something hot and spicy, Chicken Rice Shop promises you a brand new Malaysian chicken experience with the launch of its "Flaming Koli".
The newly created spicy chicken dish is made from antibiotic-free fresh chicken meat, not frozen. Marinated with secret spices and sauces for full flavour, the chicken is cooked with fresh herbs and a special mix of aromatic spices to enhance the overall dish. So tempting with the fragrant dark gravy to ignite your senses!

The Chicken Rice Shop Flaming Koli is absolutely addictive, delicious, hot and pungent with the fresh ground masala. Try it together with your families and friends and I bet you'll love it too!
Now diners can upgrade to try the new Flaming Koli Chicken dish (2 pcs) by paying an extra RM 6 for the Happy Lunch offering. Take your pick from Savers Good Lunch (RM 10.45), Healthy Good Lunch (RM 15.50), Lunch For 2 (RM 29.80) to Ladies Good Lunch (RM 12.80) and Noodles Good Lunch (RM 13.85).
We opted for the Healthy Good Lunch priced at RM 15.50 and with an add-on of RM 6, we upgraded our chicken dish to Flaming Koli. It consists the main of Flaming Koli, Ipoh Bean sprouts, Braised Tofu, Braised Egg, a plate of Chicken Rice, a bowl of soup and a glass of Soya bean drink.

June Song, Head of Marketing of TCRS Restaurants Sdn Bhd shared that while many among us may not have the time to spare when it comes to cooking, nevertheless we still look forward to the comfort of home-cooked food especially when it’s during the festive season.
“Deepavali is a time of giving, sharing with our loved ones and is a celebration filled with happiness, hence TCRS is eager to start the Deepavali celebrations sooner by providing a special Deepavali dish for all to relish in,” said June.
