Quick Tour ~ The Butcher's Table Pavilion KL

The restaurant is spearheaded by the master butcher, Mr Ho. He was primarily known for running Mr Ho’s Fine Foods in Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) in the late 1990s. He was away for a decade before his new venture - The Butcher’s Table in 2017. It is now a family-run business, united by a common goal to bring good food with a side of genuine hospitality.

Those who enjoy best cuts of premium, highest quality pork might find something to their liking on The Butcher's Table menu. The Butcher's Table which has been around for the past 6 months in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, is popular with diners who enjoy good quality food with some good wine and beers.

All dishes were so amazing and fantastically prepared offering diners an array of well-marinated fresh cuts, 100% natural wood chip smoked meats such as pancetta and pork knuckle, to name a few. And for those who want a healthy alternative to regular sausages, fret not as The Butcher’s Table offers an array of nitrate-free, preservative-free crafted sausages with natural hog casing and zero fillers.

It was a night filled with good vibes, good drinks and good food. We enjoyed the scrumptious spread of mainly pork dishes starting from small bites to mains of Tomapork Bone Steak, Crispy Roast Pork to Pancetta, Salt Beef and even some housemade Pork Sausages.

My family and I had an enjoyable dining experience savouring appetising meaty-licious creations of The Butcher's Table for that special night. Let me feature my highly recommended dishes from the TOP FAVOURITE on my list.

Tomapork With Coleslaw & Fries
700 grams
RM 88

Star of the night was, of course, the much-awaited - The Butcher's Special Pork, Tomapork. This 700 grams Bone Steak Tomapork was an experience to relish and remember.  Everyone dig into the juicy signature pork dish after it was cut into chunky bites for sharing.

Side Of Coleslaw

This pork-tastic dish scored high with us while serving portion was rather good with every one of us having a good and satisfying share of it. Hubby was eyeing the bone all the while so he can chew it after we are done with the dish. These precious pork steaks were tender and ridiculously delicious in every bite!

Crispy Roast Pork
RM 17.50

Moving on next, another winner in its own right -  Crispy Roast Pork. Oink-oink to all pork belly lovers out there especially those who are crazy over Siew Yok goodness. A classic roast pork belly, roasted to perfection with equal layers of pork fat and lean meat. Drool-worthy and a dish guaranteed to please foodies of all ages!

We dig in the juicy and tender roast pork, scoring high with everyone at the dinner table. Spot the crunchy pork skin, so sinful yet so tempting and delicious. I would have loved to hog this whole plate to myself, truly a good crowd-pleaser!

House-made Sausages Farmer's Bratwurst & Iberico Pork
RM 10.50 Each

Paying homage to pork sausage fans, one simply must order this in-house made nitrate-free, preservative-free crafted sausages.

These bangers turn out to be meaty and good to munch - a result of rich marination. Served together with honey German mustard on the side, each sumptuous piece of sausages was a medley of flavours.

Pancetta
RM 17.80

Thin succulent Pancetta slices grilled to perfection, they were crispy, succulent and loaded with flavours.

Garden Green Salad
RM 13.50

I had this dish with a garden green salad to tone down the saltiness of the pancetta and it was balanced off with the crisp and fresh-tasting greens in the salad.

Salted Beef
RM 39.50

Finishing off the satisfying meal was the last dish of the day ~ Signature Salted Beef. It is Australian beef brisket, cured for 10 days, then slow-cooked for 24 hours in special broth until it is meltingly tender.  Presented with a juicy beef brisket of sitting on a bed of sauerkraut with mustard on the sides.

Besides mouth-watering porcine dishes, The Butcher’s Table does serve beef, chicken and lamb, too. After a visit to London’s Selfridges department store, Mr Ho decided to create his own version of Salt Beef. And that quickly became a hit during his BSC days.

Deli Counter

The Butcher’s table stays true to its root without imparting gimmicky modern touches. And every dish has a story to tell. The Ho family is extremely thrilled about their new project here in the heart of the city, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. And they are dedicated to making the whole eating experience thoroughly satisfying.

So if you want to savour real good porky dishes, The Butcher's Table Pavilion is the place to visit. Pork lovers, do check this restaurant out, then you will understand the trip made was totally worthwhile!
