No tour to London should be complete without a day trip to Cambridge, the town of Cambridgeshire in England. We had an awesome day as we spent a glorious afternoon in Cambridge on a boat tour or 'punting' to get a closer sight of all the Cambridge universities by the river.

19 May 2019 ~ This was our Day 4 in London, England where my host had planned out a day tour to Cambridge, a university city and the county town of Cambridgeshire, England, on the River Cam approximately 80 km north of London.

Getting Comfortable On The Punt

Punting is the ideal way to see the Riverside colleges in both comfort and style, in a 45-50 mins return tours covering along the college backs between Magdalene College and Silver Street Bridge. 

A charming experienced chauffeur provided an interesting and informative tour whilst effortlessly glide us along the River Cam or you can try it for yourselves. 

River Cam

The River Cam is the main river flowing through Cambridge in eastern England. There are also wine merchants on the Quayside where you can purchase chilled drinks on the punt with you.

We get to enjoy in their large ferry punts taking all 7 Riverside colleges and sights including the Chapel at Kings, the Bridge of Sighs and Mathematical Bridge! 🌉🌉🌉
