Congratulations to The Manhattan Fish Market on their FISH-TACULAR 15th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION at the Subang Parade in Petaling Jaya recently. Thanks for their wonderful invitation, my family and I were invited to anniversary party filled with good company, good food with lucky draws and lots of prizes to be won during the event.

First launched in November 2002 at Mid Valley Megamall, Malaysia, The Manhattan FISH MARKET has seen incredible growth and expansion since. George Ang, Dickson Low and Dr Jeffrey Goh, founders of The Manhattan FISH MARKET saw an opportunity to serve the market’s demand for an American style seafood cuisine, a kind of fish and chip and has since grown from few outlets in 2002 to more than 70 outlets in 14 countries.

Prior to the opening speech, guests were treated to freshly made small bites or little tapas to whet our appetite. I really enjoyed tasting their wide variety of seafood-based choices of fish, prawns, scallops, salmon belly, mushrooms and much more served during the event.

The fantastic event kicked off with 3 Flaming Prawn Platters as a token of welcome to respective guests and a gastronomical dish with a wide array of specialities, showcased in 5 different cooking styles: grilled, fried, baked, poached and flamed.

Manhattan Flaming Seafood Platter is indisputable No.1 of MFM's fans! This platter serves up generous portions of hand battered fish fillets, oysters and calamari. This highlight is their Manhattan Flaming Prawns, brought to full flavour when our Sea-cret Agents flame right before your eyes!

Guests were treated to special dishes cooked in 5 different cooking styles: grilled, fried, baked, poached and flamed. Scallops, prawns, salmon belly and salmon fillet were part of the seafood used for the dishes above.

To celebrate this 15-year milestone, The Manhattan FISH MARKET will be running the Battle of The Flaming Claws campaign starting from the 16th of November whereby guests can enjoy Three Different Premium Seafood Platters such as Canadian Lobster, King Crab and French Crab at the price of RM 119.90 (before GST) each.
