In any steamboat, the soup and fresh ingredients are the two most important things that make up a wholesome and nutritious meal. Secret Garden in Petaling Jaya completely it with its own special broth coupled with several homemade recipes. Apart from the broth, the restaurant prides itself on serving hand-made seafood as well meatballs and dumplings too.

As soon as we had enjoyed the Salmon Yee Sang, the kitchen brought out the  Signature 3 Premium Seafood Spicy Soup. Seafood lovers will be amazed with this pot of treasure from the sea - A plethora of ocean fresh mixed seafood consisting of premium Soon Hock (Marble Goby), tiger prawns, and not forgetting the flower crabs too. Whole pot for RM 188 only, represents excellent value-for-money especially it's comes with a whole Marble Goby (Soon Hock)! 🐟🐟🐟

Well, this is a MUST-TRY dish if you are looking for a fiery kick in your meal. The seafood is super fresh and the spicy broth is of premium quality with fresh herbs and spices. After you are done with the seafood items in the soup, more steamboat food items can be added in and be cook again in the broth.

Cooked in a flavoursome and spicy house made secret recipe, you must let the fish 'brewed' for a little while before consuming as this allows the delicious broth to be thoroughly flavoured by the essence of the seafood items. Remember to savour and enjoy everything in this sumptuous seafood-licious dish and drink up the soup to the last spoonful!

Coming up next is their Secret Garden Imperial Chicken Broth. An excellent choice of premium chicken soup-based if you're after something comforting and soothing to warm your tummy. I was told by Katrina that the chicken broth is boiled over-night using 10kg of chicken together with dried ham and dried scallops for maximum extraction of flavour. Chinese herbs such as dried red dates and wolfberries are part of the ingredients as it adds depth of flavour to the broth, resulting in a milky liquid with rich and thick texture.

The aroma of the nourishing collagen-rich chicken broth wafted through the air as you begin your meal. Sip your way to health and good looks with Secret Garden Imperial Chicken Broth, truly delicious and nutritious broth from the first sip to the last spoonful.

For me, it is by far the BEST steamboat broth I have tasted, it did not compromise on the taste of the food but matched nicely with most of the steamboat items especially the seafood balls and meat balls. Oh yes, don't worry about running low on the soup as the servers will refill your pot with more soup base. πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜
