Wendy's Malaysia promised customers a brand new burger experience with the launch of its 'Haha Burger' to usher in good fortune and abundance for the auspicious Chinese New Year of Fire Rooster.

Wendy's Malaysia, part of the world's largest burger chain, have specially created the 'HaHa Shrimp Burger' in conjunction with coming festive celebration for the very first time to Malaysian shores. Shrimp has always been a must-have dish on every reunion table come to Chinese New Year. To welcome an auspicious Lunar New Year meal, it will not be complete without shrimps, which symbolise 'Happiness'. 😍😍😍 

"In Chinese, shrimp pronounced as 'Ha' and also it sounds like laughter and joy, therefore serving shrimp symbolises a happy year-end." said Sydney Quays, Director of Wendy's Malaysia.

"We want to bring that happiness, good fortune and prosperity to our loyal customers in what we do best, serving burgers," said Quays.

Wendy's Malaysia newly created burger for happiness called the 'Haha Burger', is made with 100 percent pure fresh shrimps. Sandwiched between two buttery glazed buns is a deep-fried flavoursome real chunk of shrimp meat loaded in a shrimp paste patty topped with garden-fresh lettuce and tartar sauce.

The crispy on the outside and soft on the inside shrimp patty was further enhanced with the creamy tartar sauce that really goes well together. Each 'HaHa Shrimp Patty' is seasoned to perfection with spices and herbs in Wendy's kitchens.

"We hope this year of the Fire Rooster will bring customers good fortune and prosperity all year long," said Quays.

With the tagline of 'Haha CNY ~ Choose Prosperity Choose HAHA!', Wendy's Malaysia all new shrimp burger is available from this year onwards. Priced at RM 9.88 for a la carte and RM 11.88 for Combo Set served with natural cut fries and Minute Maid orange juice.
