Auntie Lilly’s Must-Try Highlights
Signature Yee Sang — A Prosperous Start

Soft Shell Crab & Grilled Iberico Pork Neck Traditional Yee Sang

No Chinese New Year celebration is complete without a meaningful toss to prosperity. Oriental’s Signature Yee Sang selections include Grilled Iberico Pork, Silver Fish, Soft Shell Crab, and Salmon, starting from RM118. Each version is beautifully balanced, fresh, and well presented — perfect for an auspicious lou hei moment.

Roast Treasure Duck

A festive showstopper, this BBQ Roast Treasure Duck, generously stuffed with chestnuts and lotus seeds, was rich, flavourful, and deeply satisfying. The stuffing added both texture and depth, making it a must-have centrepiece for any reunion table.

“Prancing Year of the Horse” Farm Chicken

One of my personal favourites. This free-range farm chicken, gently smoked over the finest Pu-er tea leaves, was aromatic, succulent, and wonderfully comforting. A symbolic dish to welcome the Year of the Horse with strength, progress, and success.

Celebration Pot Shunde-Style Poon Choi

This luxurious Shunde-style Poon Choi was thoughtfully layered with premium ingredients and slow-cooked for depth and richness. Served in the exclusive Color King 100% ceramic hot pot, it not only looked impressive but also retained heat beautifully, making it perfect for both dine-in and takeaway celebrations.

Iberico Golden Pork Cheek

Hands down, one of the standout dishes of the meal. The Iberico Pork Cheek was exceptionally tender and juicy, pan-fried to perfection, and paired with the Chef’s special sauce infused with Californian honeydew. Every bite was rich, balanced, and utterly spot-on. Auntie Lilly just can't stop eating it!

“Evergreen Blooming” Cabbage with Pork Tendon

A dish rich in meaning, this beautifully braised cabbage with tender pork tendon symbolises everlasting progress and prosperity. The cabbage was meltingly soft and flavourful, while the pork tendon was gelatinous yet light — a comforting dish with deep festive significance.

Steamed Marble Goby “Soon Hock”

Delicately steamed to preserve its natural sweetness, this 1.4kg prized fish was cooked to perfection. The flesh was tender and moist, allowing the fish's freshness to shine through — a refined dish that showcases culinary precision.

Abundance Claypot Rice with Freshwater Prawns

Comforting yet celebratory, this fragrant claypot rice was topped generously with freshwater prawns, symbolising happiness and abundance throughout the year. Hearty, satisfying, and ideal for sharing.

Deep-Fried ‘Nian Gao’ with Yam & Sweet Potato

To end the meal on a sweet and nostalgic note, the Deep-fried ‘Nian Gao’ was crisp on the outside and delightfully chewy within. Paired with yams and sweet potatoes, it offered a lovely balance of textures and sweetness — a classic CNY dessert symbolising rising fortunes and sweet beginnings.
