One World Hotel ushered in the spirit of Ramadan with an exclusive preview of its upcoming Ramadan buffet, themed “Selera Klasik, Jiwa Moden”, hosted at Cinnamon Coffee House. The event welcomed approximately 200 guests, including members of the media, lifestyle influencers, and corporate partners, offering an early glimpse into the hotel’s impeccable Ramadan dining experience ahead of the holy month.

The preview began with welcoming remarks, followed by a walkthrough of the buffet highlights led by Chef De’ Cuisine, Chef Zahid bin Zainol Rashid. Guests were introduced to the key dishes featured in the spread as Chef Zahid shared insights into the culinary inspirations behind the menu and how traditional favourites were elevated with contemporary touches.

“Ramadan dishes carry a strong sense of nostalgia and comfort,” said Chef Zahid. “For this menu, we focus on preserving familiar flavours while refining them through modern techniques and presentation.”
Following the showcase, guests were invited to enjoy the buffet at leisure, indulging in a wide array of savoury and sweet offerings while connecting over lively conversations. The evening’s atmosphere was further enhanced by a live Ghazal performance, adding a cultural touch that complemented the spirit of Ramadan. The preview concluded on a high note with a lucky draw session featuring exclusive prizes.

Reflecting Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage, “Selera Klasik, Jiwa Moden” presents an extensive array of dishes from Kambing Golek Bakar dengan Sayur dan Kentang to Kari Kepala Ikan Merah, Sambal Udang Petai, and Betis Kambing Ala Varuval, among many others. The buffet also features interactive live cooking stations such as Teppanyaki, alongside an enticing selection of traditional desserts, including Malay kueh, Serawa Durian, and Ice Kacang / Cendol.
