My gastronomic adventures this time has brought my foodie hubby, Uncle Hong and I all the way to a Malay restaurant in Bandar Botanic in Klang. You can never miss this seafood restaurant with its eye-catching signboard located at a corner shop along Jalan Kasuarina 1/Ks7 in Bandar Botanic, Klang, just across GM Klang Wholesale City. 

Located in a suburban area in Bandar Botanic, is a gem of a restaurant that's getting a lot of attention for its amazing seafood cuisine to its customers in Klang. RESTORAN SISIK IKAN BAKAR pride themselves on serving simple yet delicious 'Melaka-style' cuisine with an emphasis on super fresh, premium and high-quality seafood.

Sotong Bakar Madu

RESTORAN SISIK IKAN BAKAR serves up an impressive offering of grilled dishes that are bound to make you come back for more. Sotong Bakar Madu is a crowd favourite and everyone at the dinner table complained that they can never have enough of it.
   
Giant fresh white squid coated in honey-based sauce, flame-grilled to perfection resulting in a smoky chargrilled flavour. Served with their housemade spicy sauce or 'Kuah Rempah' made from 7 types of spices that goes hand-in-hand with the tender and succulent grilled Sotong Bakar Madu.

 Melaka-styled Asam Pedas Ikan Siakap

Apart from the grilled dishes, RESTORAN SISIK IKAN BAKAR is popular for their signature Melaka-styled Asam Pedas. Diners can choose a variety of seafood to be cooked in their authentic Asam Pedas heritage recipe, one of their hot-selling dish in the restaurant.

Another unique dish any 'Tempoyak' lovers must-try is the Pais Ikan Tempoyak. To those uninitiated, Tempoyak is a Malay delicacy made from fermented durian. Diners can have Patin or Siakap dipped into the housemade tempoyak sauce and wrapped in foil before grilling to perfection in its natural juice and flavours!
