FollowMeToEatLa, Auntie Lilly was invited to the Grand Opening of its 1st outlet ~ MONO Coffee in Publika Shopping Centre at Solaris Dutamas, Mont Kiara Kuala Lumpur.

MONO Coffee Artisan Coffee & Kitchen is a third wave coffee shop that specialises to serve artisan coffee and creative cooking. MONO Coffee established its first outlet in March 2015, which is wholly owned by the Brandker Group who also manages famous Cosans Coffee, a well-known local brand cafe in Klang Valley.

Serving hand-brewed authentic coffee with creativity and passion, MONO Coffee aims to create a comfortable place where coffee aficionados from all over the nation can gather and have a cuppa of fine coffee together.

Together with this, MONO Coffee also introduces the new concept, Artisan Coffee & Kitchen together with their brand new menu to pamper your palate. MONO Coffee have expended their creative kitchen serving a good selection of Western menu ranging from main course, pasta, burger to dessert to please all tastes. 

MONO Coffee own house-blend named "Monian" is mainly from a house blend of 3 prestigious kinds of green coffee beans. "Monian" comprises 3 blends ~ Brazil Yellow Bourbon, Guatemala Antigua and Sumatra Lintong. It's the  special mixed house blend that provides you with an exquisite taste of coffee.

At the grand opening, we were treated to a cuppa of their own house-blend coffee and a mini platter of MONO Coffee's fresh and new creations. We were served a mini platter of  Pods & Chicken Salad, Stack IT and Ultimate Sandwich for sharing and sampling that day.

My favourite among the three offerings was the healthy and delicious salad dish. Light and easy on the stomach, great for those looking for a healthy meal and low in calories too.Looking forward to trying the delicious-looking Beef & Hashed "Benedicts" but was swapped with Ultimate Sandwich instead. As for the mini pancake dish and sandwich, I did not get to try much and only had some bite-size portion as it was shared between my hubby and I.

Our Camera-Eats session started with the introduction of their 3 special dishes namely ~ Beef & Hashed "Benedicts", Stack It and Pods & Chicken Salad. These beautifully plated dishes are created and cooked by Chef Fazli, who helmed the MONO Coffee kitchen. Cameras clicking away and everyone kind of got carried away with the nice presentation of the delicious-looking dishes.

Next, before the food tasting began... we were treated to a "Coffee Brewing Presentation" done by their talented and experienced Barista Trainer, Encik Shahril. A winner at Malaysia Barista Competition and Latte Art Championship, he treated every guests to an introduction session on the beans MONO Coffee used to a short tutorial of brewing great hand-brewed coffee and ending the demonstration with an awesome latte art demonstration.
