Tell me which Malaysian doesn't love a hearty serving of NASI LEMAK BUNGKUS? For this blog post, Auntie Lilly would like to feature or 'cerita' a bit to honour one of my favourite Nasi Lemak Bungkus, namely the NASI LEMAK BK4!

Bet everyone has their personal favourite and mine is non-other than this Nasi Lemak Bungkus BK4. I discovered this Nasi Lemak BK4 roadside stall by chance one day while driving along the main road at Jalan Jalil Perkasa 7, Jalil Link one morning.

Well, my family and I have been hooked on this Nasi Lemak Bungkus BK4 since then. For RM 1 only, you get a decent portion serving of fragrant steamed rice with coconut milk, hard-boiled egg, ikan bilis, peanuts and sambal. 

The RM1 Nasi Lemak BK4 ~ wrapped the old-style banana leaves, pack a punch with special sambal - thick smoky-flavoured not-too spicy-sweet sambal for the extra kick. I also like the fact that the rice portion is generous unlike those sold at the regular Mamak stalls where one need to eat at least 2 packs to fill the tummy!

A few years ago, they had closed their roadside stall at Bukit Jalil due to shortage of staff but I managed to track them down at their central kitchen located at Taman Lestari Perdana in Seri Kembangan.

Ok, you guys must be wondering why they are called BK4? Nasi Lemak BK4 started off their business operation with their first central kitchen at Bandar Kinrara BK4 but soon they have relocated to Seri Kembangan a few years ago!  

The central kitchen supplies up to 3,000 packs of Nasi Lemak Bungkus, for delivery to Mamak stalls, restaurants and petrol stations around Klang Valley. Do check out their Facebook Page for the current listings where you can purchase Nasi Lemak BK4 in town. 

I also found out from their Facebook that they offered an enterprising business opportunity to anyone interested to earn some extra pocket money part-time thru selling their nasi lemak too. 

RM 1 Per Packet
