The Malaysia International Gastronomy Festival is back again and taking place from the 1st to 30th September 2018. Throughout the Food Festival month, Malaysia’s premier league of dining venues will serve special Festival Menus at special Festival prices.

In conjunction with Malaysia International Gastronomy Festival, Samplings On The Fourteenth Restaurant is pleased to present Chef de cuisine Val's curation, introducing a gastronomic feast that offers diners a fusion taste of local cuisine while taking in the view of the stunning Kuala Lumpur skyline.
For this prestigious Malaysia International Gastronomy Festival only, they are offering two menus that convey the exquisite taste of fusion gourmet taste for discerning diners. There are two sets of menus are priced at RM 168nett and RM 268nett per set respectively.
Diners can choose from the full 7-course MIGF Festival Menu or opt for the 5-course MIGF Light Menu. The festive menu is exclusively designed by the restaurant’s chef de cuisine, Chef Val who has more than 24 years of experience in the culinary industry.

The MIGF Festival Menu features a fusion taste of local delicacies, where diners get to taste the Trio Muhibbah Starter, consisting of Lamb Satay and Chicken Dumpling with Fish Tikka and to be followed by Salmon Croquette with Truffle Cauliflower Mousse for the appetizer.
Next, there's an entrée of Smoked Duck served with rainbow lotus root, tomato jam and peas froth, and for the main course selections, you can choose either a Confit of Red Mullet or Broiled M7 Ribeye Provencal to satisfy your palate. To complement the sumptuous gastronomic spread, end the night with Pistachio Incubus dessert accompanied by Tahina Ice-cream for the sweet-savoury taste of ecstasy.

On the other hand, the MIGF Light Menu consist of an appetizer spread of Salmon and Tuna Carpaccio, compliment the taste for the night with Chick Pea Puree Soup and Balsamic Strawberry Crusted as a palate cleanser, with the main course of either Medallion Cod or Roasted Lamb Rack to choose from.

SPECIAL MENU - Chef Val’s Weekly Indulgence At RM 93 Nett Per Pax
Chef Val has also prepared an extra special menu aptly titled 'Chef Val’s Weekly Indulgence'. For only RM 93Nett per person, discerning diners will be able to enjoy a delicious meal, carefully sourced and cooked to perfection.
A little bit background on MIGF ~ Taste MIGF was introduced with Festival restaurants gathering in a specially created Theatre of Cuisines. Created to appeal to international tourists and locals alike, food lovers from the general public are able to go on a Super Gourmet Safari around the Festival Restaurants, using Gastro Dollars to exchange for bite-sized sampling portions from each menu. The event also offers informative workshops and showcases luxury gourmet products.
The fine dining restaurant operates from 6.30pm to 10.30pm and is closed every Sunday and Public Holiday. The restaurant’s main dining room seats 60 people with an addition of 2 private rooms that accommodate 8 and 12 guests respectively.
