As our single-day family road trip wound down from Sekinchan, we began making our way through Pasir Penambang, Kuala Selangor. Before heading off to our final riverside dinner destination, we decided to squeeze in one quick, crunchy pitstop: the G58 Prawn Crackers Kuala Selangor (巨吴霸瓜拉雪兰莪虾饼).

An Addictive Tasting Session & The Perfect Souvenir

The owner was kind enough to offer us a batch of freshly fried, warm shrimp crackers to taste right there on the shop floor. They were beautifully airy, light, crisp, and exceptionally addictive to munch on.

We weren't the only ones impressed. My sister-in-law, who was visiting us from abroad and is a massive fan of local snacks, immediately started loading up her shopping basket. She bought a massive haul of their packed, non-fried raw crackers so she could safely pack them away in her luggage to fry up back home in London!
