Classic Sang Har Mee (Freshwater Prawn Noodles)
RM350/kg
The Main Event: A Tale of Two Noodles
The undisputed king on Green View’s menu is the Sang Har Mee (Freshwater Prawn Noodles). But we discovered there isn't just one star; there’s a classic legend and its sophisticated, modern counterpart. We knew we had to try both.
The Classic: Signature Sang Har Mee (RM350/kg)
This is the dish that built the Green View empire. A mountain of crispy, deep-fried egg noodles arrives at the table, forming the perfect foundation for what’s to come. Perched atop are gigantic freshwater prawns, their flesh firm, fresh, and unbelievably juicy.
Luscious & Umami-Rich Sang Har Meen
But the magic lies in its bright orange gravy. This is no ordinary sauce; it’s a luscious, umami-rich concoction deeply infused with the creamy, decadent roe from the prawn heads. Every strand of noodle soaks up this glorious gravy, softening just enough while retaining a satisfying bite. It's a symphony of textures and flavours—crispy, soft, savoury, and sweet. A true 10/10 masterpiece.
A noteworthy detail: Green View only charges for the weight of the prawn’s body after trimming, not the hefty claws, which is a testament to their fair practice.
The Connoisseur's Choice
Limited Edition Moutai Sang Har Mee
(RM370/kg)
The Connoisseur's Choice: Limited Edition Moutai Sang Har Mee (RM370/kg)
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, the Moutai version arrived. For the uninitiated, Moutai is China's revered national liquor, a complex and potent spirit traditionally served in special glasses to concentrate its unique aromas.
MOUTAI ~ China's Revered National Liquor
Here, a generous splash is added to the dish right before serving. The effect is immediate and intoxicating. The Moutai introduces a powerful, fragrant bouquet and an intense, lingering flavour that cuts through the richness of the gravy, elevating the entire dish to a new level of sophistication. For lovers of fine Chinese wine, this is a non-negotiable, must-try experience. The intense flavour profile is bold, aromatic, and utterly unforgettable.
The Showstopper: Barbecue Indonesian Live Crab
RM250/kg
The Showstopper: Barbecue Indonesian Live Crab (RM250/kg)
While the noodles are legendary, the Barbecue Indonesian Live Crab is a masterpiece in its own right. Be prepared to wait—this dish requires a minimum of 35 minutes to prepare, and every second is worth it.
A massive live crab (ours was close to 1kg) is slow-cooked in a masterful blend of not one, but three different types of cooking wine: Yellow Wine, Rice Wine, and Shaoxing Wine.
Chunky Piece Of Crabmeat From The Claw!
This patient cooking process allows the fragrant wine trio to permeate every fibre of the sweet, succulent crab meat. The result is an incredibly flavourful and aromatic dish in which the crab's natural sweetness is enhanced, not masked. It’s messy, hands-on, and pure bliss.
The Supporting Cast: A Feast of Flavours
While the noodles and crab were the stars, the other dishes we ordered were far from mere afterthoughts. Each one was executed with precision.
Honey Squid (S)
RM 30
A Delightful & Crispy Appetizer
Appetizer: Honey Squid (RM30)
This was a delightful start to the meal. The squid was perfectly crispy, lightly battered, and coated in a sticky, sweet honey glaze that was addictive.
King Du Pork Long Rib (500 grams)
RM 65
Fall-Off-The-Bone Tender
King Du Pork Long Rib (RM65)
These ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and lacquered in a classic sweet and savoury 'King Du' sauce. They are a fantastic and meaty counterpoint to the seafood.
Yuan Yang Kai Lan (S)
RM 32
Veggies Cooked Two Ways!
Yuan Yang Kai Lan (RM32)
This is a clever take on a simple vegetable dish. The Kai Lan was prepared in two styles: some leaves were deep-fried to a crispy, seaweed-like texture, and the stems were stir-fried to perfection. It offered an excellent textural contrast.
RM 15
A Refreshing End To A Rich Meal
Dessert - Mango Pomelo Sago (RM15)
The perfect finale. A cool, refreshing bowl of creamy mango puree, juicy pomelo sacs, and chewy sago pearls to cleanse the palate after a rich and flavourful meal.
Final Verdict

It’s a place for special occasions, for celebrating milestones, or simply for indulging in one of the best seafood meals you can have in the Klang Valley. The prices reflect the premium quality of the ingredients, but the experience delivers on every ringgit.
