BUKIT JALIL KUALA LUMPUR
 Glutinous Rice Soup

Hi foodies! Guess what, I just found a new place to satisfy my cravings for Tong Shui or Sweet Chinese desserts kicks ~ right here at Bukit Jalil, near my home. LEONG'S SWEET DESSERT is a food truck stall located right in front of 7-Eleven at  Jln Jalil Jaya 7, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

LEONG'S SWEET DESSERT FOOD TRUCK
Open Daily 4pm till late at 11:30pm.

You see, Auntie was craving for some really good-tasting Tong Shui ever since coming back from Hong Kong. During my 10 days stay in Hong Kong, I had my Tong Shui all the time near where I stay and it's a regular treat for many Hongkies to have desserts for snacks or an after-dinner treat. Tong Shui shops are abundant in Hong Kong and all of them are reasonably good to say.

It's easy to find the food truck as you can immediately spot it by the main road as it's right in front of 7-Eleven along Jalan Jalil Jaya 7 in Bukit Jalil.

Choices are abundant and we actually took a minute or two to decide upon what to have that night for our supper treat. Prices are reasonable, starting from RM 3.50 onwards to RM 6.50 per bowl only and they are open from 4pm till late at 11:30pm.

You can choose from 11 kinds of sweet Tong Shui such as Peanut Paste, Black Sesame Paste, Sweet Peanut Puree, Green Bean Soup, Red Bean Soup, Bubur Cha Cha, Organic Tau Fu Fa, Peach Gum Red Dates, Black Glutinous Rice Soup, Yuba Barley, Sweet Wheat Porridge.

Red Bean Soup
RM 3.50

Sweet Peanut Puree
RM 3.50

It's been a while since I had such good-tasting Tong Shui in KL - the good ones in the shops costs a bomb to eat while the cheaper ones at the stalls (that sells fried meehoon, deep-fried snacks) are bland and weren't up to mark and it's always watery and tasteless.

LEONG'S TRADITIONAL SWEET DESSERT's Tong Shui is a true gem, really delicious. The sweet soup is thick and full-of-flavour, giving a rich taste for the desserts. And also it's not too sweet, just perfects to my liking!

They are really generous in their ingredients as every spoonful of my Red Bean Soup or Black Glutinous Rice Soup is filled with the beans.  For RM 3.50 a bowl - the serving portion was very generous, good deal indeed.

There are healthy herbals tea of Sugar Cane & Water Chestnut Herbal Tea, Ginseng Honey Chrysanthemum Tea, Grass Jelly Drink & Organic Soya Bean - Priced from RM 3.50 to RM 5.50 each.

As for me, Auntie Lilly only manages to try 2 of their offerings but I'll definitely come back for more to try all of the Tong Shui to see which is my favourite.

Lots Of Parking Spots

If you're around the area in Bukit Jalil, do come over if you love a good bowl of yummy-licious Tong Shui to warm your tummy after dinner or for supper. Let me know if you enjoy it as much as I do it in your comments below!
