Ramadan Decor to brighten up the main entrance
Spacious & Comfortable Dining Environment

Heading the team for the "Citarasa D'Ramadan Buffet", Executive Chef William Teo with 35 years of cooking experience, wants customers to savour both traditional and fusion flavours. Chef William shared with us his passion of serving speciality dishes like the Nyonya Laksa that was his grandma's recipe originated from Melaka.

Walk through the buffet consisting of Western salad and traditonal Malaysian salad with selection of colourful kerabu, ulam-ulam, Gado-gado (Indonesian salad), fresh rojak buah and other wholesome concoctions to start off your meal on the right note.

Spoilt For Choice: Colourful and Fresh Spread of Kerabu
Patrons will be spoilt for choice with the variety of kerabu such as Kerabu Mangga, Kerabu Pucuk Paku and ulam like pucuk pegaga (Asiatic pennywort) and terung pipit (turkey berry from Thailand). Besides that, lemang and ketupat with serunding daging, ayam and ikan (meat floss) are also available.

Chilled Delights: Western Salad of Cold meat, Mussel & Succulent Poached Prawns

Soup Station
Break your fast with the Chef William's specialty, Sup Rusa (Venison Soup). The venison is cooked with spices to bring out the flavour in the soup. Savoury and rich, it goes well with french toast or bun and is even good enough as a main meal for any light eater. Excellent soup choice for the non-beef eater too.

For main dishes, indulge in Stir Fried Beef with Capsicum & Black Pepper, Malaccaan dish - Pong Teh Ayam and Ayam Pencen Masak Gulai served with white rice or nasi minyak.

Appetising Udang Sambal Petai (top) & Sambal Bawang Sotong Basah (bottom)
Another distinctive offering from Executive Chef William is Udang Sambal Petai. Fresh herbs and spices together with his secret recipe derived from his Baba-Nyonya heritage, this by far is one of the best udang sambal petai I've ever had.
Rendang Tok
Another must try signature dishes to look out for are the Daging Rendang Tok, a dish from Perak that is reminiscent of home-cooking which bring back memories of villages and home-cooked food.

It has a long cooking process of several hours on low flame to make the beef tender with traditional homemade spices. Infused with coriander, cumin and fennel to bring out their aromatic fragrance, thus giving this rendang dish its signature fibrous texture.

Ikan Keli Tempoyak (top) & Gulai Lemak Nangka Ikan Masin (bottom)
These two dishes from Perak are unique and famous dish that has become a rarity since many restaurants seldom serve them anymore in their menu.

I enjoyed the gulai lemak very much as the rich flavours from the ikan masin (salted fish) goes well with the santan based gravy. Dishes such as these gives diners the feeling of dining back home in the village with family.

Next is the Ikan Keli Tempoyak. According to Chef William, this dish is special becuse durian paste is used to prepare it. The king of fruits is known for its rich texture and aroma, making the dish full of flavour.

Star of The Night - Tantalising Rendang Tok & Amazing Udang Sambal Petai

Must Have For Ramadan - Briyani Rice
Nasi Briyani served with a selection of Beef, Chicken or Lamb Briyani. The nasi briyani was cooked to perfection and I was able to taste the harmonious blend of spice in each grain of rice.

Satay-li-cious: Satay Ayam & Satay Daging
The KL satay is a must have - chicken and beef are prepared before your eyes and are eaten with ketupat (Malay rice dumplings), onion, cucumber and peanut gravy.

To tickle local taste buds, the flying bread, roti canai, was served too. Not forgetting a Hainanese Chicken Rice stall was set up to offer more choices to its diners.

At the Barbecue Station, indulge in succulent roast whole New Zealand Lamb. There will be a whole roasted lamb every night and a super cute good-looking chef on hand, to crave the meats for guests. According to Chef William, the lamb was marinated in the Moroccon style recipe. The lamb was certainly tasty and tender and not dry at all.

Buzz has also set up a live cooking station - be it the craving station or the grill station - where customers will be able to see the chefs at work.

Over at the grill station, there's another good-looking chef whipping up grilled squid, ikan kembung, ikan tenggiri, mussel and chicken wings too. If you look close enough, he bears a close resemblence to famous American actor - Nicholas Cage!

Luk-Luk Station

An Italian Station cooking up a la minute pasta to your liking with choices of bolognese or carbonara creamy sauce.

Coconut Shake Station

Sweet Dessert of Sarawa Durian with Pulut & Bubur Kacang Merah
Tapai Beras Pulut wrapped in rubber tree leaves

Have a sweet finish to your meal with irresistible temptations found at the dessert counter serving savoury pudding and chocolate mousse.

 ABC Station
A meal is never complete without ais kacang or better known as ABC, a favourite Malaysian dessert. Feel free to add in the variety of condiments of cream corn, cincau, peanuts, red beans  to go with your Air Batu Campur, top up with cendol, gula melaka and sweet syrup.

An Assortment of Cakes
