KUALA LUMPUR, 5 OCTOBER 2023 – Huawei officially announced the launch of its latest HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 and HUAWEI MatePad 11” PaperMatte Edition, following the resounding success of its recent launch in Europe and China. Embodying the essence of the “Fashion Forward” proposition, the new generation of WATCH GT flagship series represents a significant milestone in Huawei’s journey to unite technology and fashion expression.

The proposition heralds a new era of wearable fashion that empowers users to personalize their health and sports journey without compromising style. Known as Malaysia’s first PaperMatte display tablet, HUAWEI MatePad 11” PaperMatte Edition is designed to cater to tertiary students' and young professionals' daily computing needs.

b. Huawei meticulously designs the tablet screen, implementing a pixel-level precision matching process to align nanoscale textures with pixel distribution while adjusting structure angles to prevent eye-straining reflected light and ensure a precise, uniform image.

This is paired with a more responsive touch surface with a smaller contact surface for responses to be registered and features a 120Hz high refresh rate that improves the speed by 10% compared to its predecessors.

b. To help with the screen’s upkeep, the product packaging includes a double-sided, grey microfiber synthetic leather polishing cloth that easily removes fingerprints, dust, stains, and even minor scratches.

b. HUAWEI MatePad 11” PaperMatte edition supports HarmonyOS 3.1, ushering in an elevated intelligent office experience. Moreover, the tablet prioritizes productivity with dedicated PC-level WPS Office [4] (MY PH ID ONLY) functions. HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 will be available for pre-order starting 5 October 2023 across all HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI’s Official Website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada, Senheng, senQ and Harvey Norman where customers will be entitled to complimentary gifts worth up to RM 580 upon purchases made from 5 October 2023 until 13 October 2023. 

The HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 in 46mm comes in four distinct colourways: Grey with an Integrated Stainless-Steel Strap, Green with a Green Woven Strap, Brown with a Brown Leather Strap, and Black with Black Fluoroelastomer Strap. The HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 in 41mm comes in three distinct colourways: Silver with a Two-tone Piano Key Bracelet, White with a White Leather Strap, and Black with a Black Fluoroelastomer Strap.

HUAWEI MatePad 11” PaperMatte Edition (8GB + 128GB WIFI) will be available nationwide starting 5 October 2023 for RM 2,299 across all HUAWEI Experience Stores, HUAWEI’s Official Website, HUAWEI Official Store on Shopee, HUAWEI Flagship Store on Lazada.
