Calling Fishball Noodle Lovers! Auntie Lilly stumbled upon another gem, a 'Yu Dan Fun' in Happy Garden yesterday.

This unassuming gem, known as Ah Chai Sai Dou Fish Ball Noodle (阿才西刀鱼丸粉), sets itself apart by handcrafting its fishballs and fish cakes daily in-house. Intrigued by this, I tried both variations, the Soup Noodles (Ching Tong) and the Dry Noodles (Kon Lou), to determine which one offered the superior taste and flavour.

Bouncy & Chewy Housemade Fish Balls & Fish Cakes

As I savoured each bite, I relished the delicious bounciness and chewiness of their homemade fish balls and cakes. The quality of their handcrafted creations shines through upon the first bite, distinguishing them from the store-bought alternatives.

If you want some noodles, order the Dry Version Soup Noodles, which are more flavourful after mixing with some black sauce and come with minced pork. The Soup Noodle wasn't bad, but he could have done better with a more intense or sweeter version, considering he has many fish bones to brew a better-tasting soup base.

Priced at RM8 per bowl, I'm already planning my return visit, where I intend to savour their delectable Fish Balls and Fish Cakes on their own, without the noodles.
