I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice, a popular food stall located at Maxwell Food Centre in Singapore. As someone who loves chicken rice, I had high expectations for Tian Tian's version, which has gained international recognition thanks to culinary icons like Anthony Bourdain and Gordon Ramsey.

Upon taking my first bite, I immediately understood why Tian Tian has become so beloved. The chicken was perfectly poached and tender, with a subtle yet satisfying flavour. But what really sets Tian Tian's chicken rice apart is the rice itself, which is cooked in chicken stock and bursting with flavour. I couldn't get enough of it!
To add a little kick to the dish, I added Tian Tian's homemade chilli sauce, which had just the right amount of heat and zestiness. It complemented the chicken and rice perfectly, creating a symphony of flavours that left me feeling satisfied and happy.
As for the atmosphere, dining at Tian Tian is a true hawker centre experience. The food stall is located in an open-air area, which can get quite crowded and hot. But that's all part of the charm! You get to enjoy delicious food while immersing yourself in the hustle and bustle of Singapore's vibrant food scene.
All in all, I highly recommend visiting Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice if you find yourself in Singapore. The food is truly exceptional and well worth the visit. Just be prepared to brave the crowds and heat – trust me, it's worth it!
