Claypot XO Fish Head Noodles RM 27

I was immediately hooked on the unique flavour of the XO sauce, a spicy seafood sauce that packs a punch. The fish head was fresh and tender, and the noodles were cooked to perfection.

We add-on Fish Paste as it was my favourite too.  It was the perfect dish to warm me up on a chilly day.

Claypot Mouse Noodles

But that's only some of what Soon Lei has to offer! I also tried their Claypot Mouse Noodles, which were simply divine. The combination of the tender meat, the rich broth, and the chewy noodles was absolutely irresistible. It's the perfect comfort food, and I could easily eat it every day.

 

Steamed Yam With Pork Belly

And let's not forget about the other dishes I tried! The Steamed Yam with Pork Belly was a real treat, with the soft yam perfectly complementing the savoury pork belly. Best eaten with rice for me. And the Guinness Chicken Wings were a great snack, with crispy skin and a delicious sauce.

Be ready to face crowds if you visit this place during peak lunch hours and weekends as it can get quite crowded. Since it's a small shop, the seating is limited and not very spacious.

All in all, I had a fantastic dining experience at Soon Lei Restaurant, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their delicious dishes. If you're looking for a place to satisfy your cravings for unique and delicious food, be sure to check them out!
