Bmon Cafe Enjoy Tastes In A Different Way

Bmon Cafe is the place to head to if you fancy dining in Cartoon or Comic character inspired cafe. Located in Kota Damansara which is a stone throw from The Strand Mall, this cafe offers ample parking spaces around its locality.

I was pretty impressed with the interior, everything from the artworks on the wall to the art paintings were personally hand-drawn by one of the owner, Roy himself. Drawing inspiration from Japanese manga-anime characters, he conceptualised a character called 'Bmon'.

His drawings of Bmon can be seen on every nooks and corners of the cafe as the cute comic character came alive in his artwork. 

A cozy corner to unwind with a cup of coffee and a book, a lovely spot where I can sit and chill all day to de-stress in a nice relaxing atmosphere.

And also a perfect spot to pose for pictures too! 

Awesome place for mother and daughter to chill too!

If you look close enough,  this reminiscent like sitting in the train carriage looking out to the scenery from the train window and even with a baggage compartment above the head. How interesting!

Everyone is welcome to share their thoughts and comments by drawing on these personalised cute little circular shaped cards for display at Bmon Cafe.

Now, let move on Bmon's variety of offerings, from all-day breakfast to pasta, sandwich, pizza, wraps and salad for their customers to choose from. Besides that, Bmon Cafe have come up with drinks menu ranging from regular Espresso, Macchiato, Latte, Cappucino, Affogato, Mocha to Flower Tea, Honey Milk and Hot Chocolate too.

Fruit Mayo Salad

Kick start your day with this vegan and guilt free Fruit Mayo Salad. Combination of fresh greens with variety of chopped fruits served together with raisins for added sweetness and croutons for the crispiness and topped with mayo for dressing. Vegan or fruits lovers can opt for this sweet and sour flavourful healthy salad.

For those looking for more protein, can choose Tuna Mayo Salad. Tasty tuna served on a bed of mesclun salad topped with croutons for extra flavour and tossed in mayo dressing. Healthy choice, great for those looking for a lighter meal.

Mushroom lovers will go crazy over this serving of  Mushroom Wrap. Bmon Cafe's version of mushroom wrap comes with generous filling of 5 fresh mushrooms namely button mushroom, oyster mushroom, shitake mushroom and even some pricey portobello mushroom. Real value for money. Every single bite comes loaded with mushroom and more mushroom, how appetising!

Tuna Wrap on the other hand, was equally good with thin and lightly toasted to give the crisp which goes well with the savoury tuna mayo filling. Eat them fast as the crisp wraps can get soggy if leave for too long. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that Bmon Cafe's fries were so much better than many cafes I have been too as they are always served hot and crispy, so yummy!

Turkey Ham Sandwich

Turkey Ham Sandwich ~ a typical 'Subway style' sandwich. Buttery and fluffy croissant sandwiching 2 slices of turkey ham, cheese, cucumber and tomato slices for added texture. Comes in combination set of sandwich with salad and crispy fries to complete the meal.

Bmon Cafe offers 2 choices of thin crust pizzas ~ Customers can choose between the Mushroom or Hawaiian to suit your taste. I pefer the Hawaiian pizza as it's my favourite all the time. Toppings of chicken ham, minced chicken, sweet & sour pineapples together with generous cheese was good to taste.

 All Day Breakfast

Bmon Cafe version of Big Breakfast was just average for me. Nothing special to mention as it's just a ordinary breakfast with toast, baked beans, sauteed mushroom, scrambled eggs, ham, hash brown and sausage with side salad. If you're paying this price, there are better choices to choose from their menu.

Hippo In A Pond

Lastly, it's the Highlight of the Bmon Menu  ~ A mouthwatering dish given a cute name of "Hippo In A Pond". An interesting dish of potato croquette with a whole egg inside, coated with breadcrumbs and fried till golden brown, thus giving a crispy texture on the outside but a soft, melt-in-mouth mashed potatoes on the inside. Totally tasty especially with the hidden egg within. 

Served top with chicken floss, corn, chicken ham and flavoursome cheese sauce poured over it, this is a Must-Try dish at Bmon Cafe. Looks good and taste good till the last spoon, highly recommended for those cheese + potato fans! 

 Selection of Cakes 

The cafe, which opened in November, also serves a variety of cakes for customers to pick from . The dessert choices are limited but satisfying in taste. Among them are the Chocolate Mud with Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream and  Waffle with Strawberry/Chocolate Ice Cream and Fruits.

Bmon Cafe is offering Student Discount for all Students. Just show your Student ID and you will entitle 10% discount on any Food, Beverage & Desserts. A cozy environment for hanging out, group discussion and revision too!

All in all, Bmon Cafe is a pretty cool place to chill or hang out with friends. Menu may not be extensive but its wraps, pizzas, waffles, cakes and ice cream with brewed coffees and premium teas are the attractions for the time being. 

What I like about the cafe is the food they serve is really of good quality, fresh ingredients being used in their dishes and most of all, the pricing pretty decent and affordable, won't burn a hole in your pocket. It's the place to be, either for a fun day out chilling with your besties savouring crispy waffles with ice cream and green tea latte or even studying with your friends munching on wraps while enjoying great coffee!
