We tried both the Roast Pork Rice and the Golden Egg Shrimp Rice at RM 9.90 each. Both were hearty, quick, and remarkably budget-friendly for the portion sizes.

Cordyceps Flower Soup

To balance out the fried and savory items, we ended our meal with a warm bowl of Cordyceps Flower Soup, which is currently discounted by 30% (RM 10.50). It was light and soothing, adding a nice, nourishing touch to the end of the meal.

Sweet Endings

For dessert, we couldn't resist ordering their Portuguese Egg Tart (RM 2.45). Served warm with a flaky pastry crust and a rich, creamy custard center, it was a solid sweet treat to cap off the feast.

Overall Verdict

Like many large-menu dim sum spots, there are a few hits and misses depending on what you order. However, given its incredible affordability, generous promotions, and standout dishes like its Signature Crispy Shrimp Rice Rolls and Wasabi Prawn Rolls, Ba Hao Dim Sum is a pretty good spot for a satisfying dim sum treat in Sri Petaling.
