Last weekend, hubby & I were back in Pudu and decided to check out this long-standing and 'cukup' famous hawker stall among the local folks in the Pudu area.
This Restaurant 168 Wantan Mee & Curry Mee, still a hidden gem for many, has been going strong for 20 years and is still around at the same spot.
Curry Mee

Signature dishes are their Curry Mee and Wanton Mee. This Curry Laksa is the very old-school type... that comes with Pork skin, Cockles, Taufo Pok and Mint Leaves! Curry is not the thick & creamy type but still fragrant with fresh herbs and spices!

The Wanton Mee Dish may not look appealing, but it definitely tastes better than it seems. Damn spot-on with pork lard seasoning & the very yummy radish soup comes with giant juicy prawn + pork wanton and fat Sui Kau!

Both Curry Laksa and Wanton Mee cost RM9 Per Bowl! Oh yeah, I loved their dumplings - the Sui Kaw was plump and filled with generous portions of minced pork and chopped prawns, while the Wanton had one solid whole prawn!
