My daughter, Clarrisha Hong and I were happy to be invited to LAVO, 1st-Anniversary Celebration on the 7th September 2017. This is one of the happening F&B outlets where everyone get to chill and unwind at not one but three of their F&B establishment, namely; MAZE - a Gin parlour and Coffee saloon, CHAZE - Whisky luxe lounge and last but not least, LAVO - Resto Wine Atelier.

Boasting among one the most distinctive wine decks in Malaysia, Lavo, Tropicana’s commodious restro wine atelier celebrates its 1st anniversary this September since opening its doors last June 2016. The impressive wine list featuring more than 1,300 notable wine labels from around the globe has had wine enthusiasts thronging Lavo with new wines and rare vintages featured every quarter in which many are made available by the glass.
Serving up to a delectable menu of Asian and Western temptations, the innovative fusion menu offers a vast spread ranging from nibbles, appetizers, mains and a growing selection of desserts, drawing discerning diners and receiving raves from food critics all over town with immensely positive reviews.
“Lavo is central to our M Group concept as it will be our main all-day dining outlet, and will support outlets such as Chaze and Maze, through its extensive kitchen. We’re especially proud of Lavo’s wine repertoire that offers an incredibly wide comprehensive selection in Malaysia. There is no place quite like Lavo in Tropicana, where friends and families can unwind in style, comfort and revel in great food, exceptional wine and good taste,” said M Group director, Benson Tay.
Performance By No Noise Percussions
The 1st Anniversary celebration kicked off with an exhilarating performance by No Noise Percussions that raised energy levels. Their concept of applying the percussion playing technique using objects that are made for non-musical purposes, not even for producing sounds like household items, water pipes, car exhaust and cones had kept the audience captivated.

Vivas Magic - Mesmerizing LED Violin Performance
It was then followed by Lucky Draws for all the guests who attended the celebration and led by the next act from Vivas Magic - a mesmerizing LED Violin performance that created a visual spectacle of light.
The night went on to an after-party at CHAZE where DJ Ken Master took over the decks which got the crowd in the mood to party the night away. Guests were also given goodie bags at the end of the night as a token of appreciation from Lavo.
