Affectionately known as "Che Zai Meen" in Cantonese, Cart Noodles is a local favourite and allow you to customise and build your entire bowl from scratch. 

A staple of Hong Kong soul food for good reason: they're quick, cheap, filling, and easily adapt to your tastes. You're welcome to customise everything in your bowl, right down to the type of noodles, soup broth, and toppings for a filling, inexpensive fast takeaway meal; it's basically like creating your own dish!

There's something for everyone on this list, whether you're looking for Cantonese classics like Fried Fish Balls, Pork Balls, Slice Beef and Stewed Chicken Wings or something more indulgent like Spicy Duck Blood Jelly, Pig's Blood Curds, Pork Skin and Beef Briskets.

However, there's a minimum charge of HK$ 58 for Cart Noodles, so I just pay an extra HK$1 or can opt for more toppings, which I prefer not to do.
