Back here again since I came here for prayers in 2018, this beautifully constructed temple never fails to amaze me with its lavishly decorated murals and carvings together with the collection of vibrantly coloured Chinese altars, halls, pavilions, shrines, and gardens.

It's probably the busiest temple in Hong Kong and has a reputation as the luckiest too, I pay my pilgrimage to Wong Tai Sin each time I visit Hong Kong.

Stores Outside The Wong Tai Sin Temple

Just buy nine incense sticks with a stack of wishing papers from stores outside the temple, then write your family members’ names onto the papers. "First, I offer incense sticks to Buddha and the gods, then I burn the papers to wish for good fortune and luck."
