NOODLES WITH AN OOMPH ONLY AT GO NOODLE HOUSE
GO Noodles House 有间麵馆 needs no introduction to many foodies who simply love their fragrant clear broth with silky smooth noodles. I have my first taste of GO Noodle House when my daughter, Carmen brought me to their first outlet in Jaya One at The School.

She was a great fan of their noodles and has been raving about the broth, big juicy meatballs and everything about GO Noodle! Her personal favourite is the 'Clams In Superior Soup' for she's a seafood lover, no doubt. I also fall in love with their irresistibly good-tasting fragrant homemade broth and the signature Mi Xian noodles. My top pick has always been their 'Grouper Fish Slices In Superior Soup Noodles'.

GO Noodle House 有间麵馆 ~ 3rd Anniversary Celebration 2017
So when I was recently invited to taste and review their new menu items of their 3 latest offerings, I couldn't be more excited. I believe these additions will enhance GO Noodle House's wide variety of menu ranging from meatballs, fish paste, pork belly slices to a variety of seafood such as Grouper fish slices, clams, prawns, padi field frogs just to name a few, thus giving the regular diners more option to choose from their current menu.

GO Noodle's newest snack offering of 'Dragon Balls' consist of a mixed platter of 3 varieties of deep-fried fish balls, pork balls and cuttlefish balls. The platter of 9 Dragon Balls is great for sharing and especially for those with a lighter appetite looking for something delicious to snack on. If you particular like specific flavours, then take your pick from their individual serving of 5 balls per plate.

Fried Pork Balls get the thumbs up from me. This is a classic take of deep fried handmade grounded pork balls. Well-marinated, firm in texture and tender on the inside with its flavoursome seasoning. Remember, these big bouncy pork balls can get addictive, so you'll probably hog the whole plate to yourself! 😋😋😋

HK Fried Fish Balls RM 4.90

Apart from that, their HK deep-fried Fish balls were equally good, just like how a fish paste balls should be. You'll enjoy the chewy and bouncy texture with every bite. But I only wish they were much bigger in size as compared to the pork balls.

HK Fried Cuttlefish Balls RM 6.90

Well, here comes their HK Fried Cuttlefish Balls. I find them decent with a good size as compared to the smaller fish balls with a chewy texture to every bite. Could be better if they can get those with bits and pieces of real white squid meat in the balls, to enhance the whole eating experience.

Superior Pork Tendon Mi Xian.
You'll love the home-cooked delight of  Superior Pork Tendon Mi Xian. Feel your taste bud ticking and experience an explosion of flavours as you bite into the meaty pork-licious pork balls and gets to nibble into the chewy little tendon bits within.

It was easy, delicious, comfort food that has maintained its quality and standard throughout the years, and for that, it gets a thumbs up from me!

Fish Maw Soup

Add-On RM 7

Another new food item which might attract seafood lovers to taste their latest Fish Maw Soup. Considered a delicacy and commonly found prepared at Chinese home kitchen, this dish will be another hot selling item in the menu when launching in July 2017.

Fish Maw Soup
Fish Maw Soup
This wholesome fish maw blends with well into the fragrant soup serve with lavish use of chopped coriander and scallions. I enjoyed the unique texture, no fishy smell and sponginess which was nice to chew on. Ideal to be served with the clear and flavourful broth as it has the ability to absorb the flavours of the other ingredients.

Oh yes, please note that this dish does not come with noodles but are available in their Signature Superior Soup only!

  2. My children and I love Go Noodles. I been to outlets at Jaya One, Mid Valley,Sunway Pyramid and Mines. I have no complaints for the outlets. All except one. The one at Mines. Once I packed the spicy mi xian noodles with bursting balls. The soup was very bland it taste diluted. Today I packed the same. The noodle taste overcooked on the outside and hard on the inside. To whomever it concerns, please get the kitchen to buck up.
