Newly opened this year in 2015, this Italian eatery is located at the revamped Atria Shopping Gallery bringing new dining choices to the folks living around Damansara Jaya.
You can never miss their eye-catching Pizzolo logo right at the shopping mall entrance on the right. Pizzolo is creative, colourful and innovative, taking its concept from Southern European markets serving good food with a contemporary twist from traditional Italian favourites such as pizza, pastas, becco, and contorni. Pizzolo offers an interesting interior filled with attractive studio-like lighting, modern fittings with vibrant and colourful seating. Diners will enjoy its charming and relaxed atmosphere with tasteful ambiance while dining at Pizzolo. One thing that will grab the patron's eye as they walk into the restaurant is the open kitchen, dishing out Italian specialities such as baking thin-crust pizza, pastas, becco and many more.
Chilled Tomato, Watermelon and Feta
Started off with Chilled Tomato, Watermelon and Feta. Marked as chef's recommendation, the salad comes as refreshing with a sourish tone for the dressing. The log-shaped watermelon goes well with the rich. creamy feta cheese with contrasting flavours of sweet fruit against the bold and tangy flavour of the feta.
Seared Scallops on Avocado Tartar
Great Combination of the Tobiko with Scallops
Fresh salad green served with special house made avocado tartar sauce and tasty fresh pan-seared scallops on the side. Loved the black tobiko and orange ebiko roe topping the juicy scallops!
Pizzolo's Zuppa or soup selection is limited to two options, which will simplify the patron's decision-making.
Traditional Italian Clam Chowder
Hearty without being heavy, that's how I would described this delicious Italian Clam Chowder. They used chopped clams rather than minced, so the clam taste and texture won't disappear. Good to the last drop and taste even better with the buttered toast.
Wild Mushroom Soup Cappuccino
Another good choice of soup with the Wild Mushroom Soup Cappuccino. A tummy-warming creamy soup of fresh wild mushroom served with a dollop of whipped cream, it looks like a frothy cappuccino! Mushroom lovers would enjoy this.
Trout Ceviche On Kataifi
Small of bites of Trout Ceviche On Kataifi served as an appetiser before the main. Presentation were good, but eating this required an acquired taste. Trout ceviche, raw fish marinated in citrus flavours nestled on a bed of nest shaped crispy fine kataifi.

Smoked Salmon Bruschetta
If you are a bruschetta lover, the Trio Of Bruschetta will have you wanting more. The antipasto, Italian famous starter dish consists of 3 bruschetta toppings of chopped tomato, mushroom and smoked salmon. Just love the perfect open sandwich smoked salmon with the olive-oil brushed slices of toasted baguette.
Italian food could never be complete without pizza. Here at Pizzolo, they serves a unique range of the extensive pizza menu using only the best of local and international meats and produce. Pizzolo also boasts its Signature Handmade Pizza specially prepared in a gas fired oven giving you delicate golden crust with delicious fresh toppings and fascinating flavours.
Roast Lamb Shoulder Pizza
For lamb lovers, the Roast Lamb Shoulder Pizza features juicy chunky lamb, onion rings and fresh herbs baked to perfection over the crispy thin crusts. I liked the light and crunchy texture of the rustic dough as it perfectly complemented the roast lamb shoulder that came with it.
South Texas Barbecue Chicken
While, the South Texas Barbecue Chicken offers a delectable combination of smoky BBQ sauce drizzled over chicken meat, black olives, red capsicum, green capsicum and red chillies. Although I'm not a great fan of BBQ sauce pizza, I did enjoyed eating the light and crunchy rustic dough.
Sea Clams Linguini
There are eight main pasta dishes for the Pizzolo's menu. Diners can have different variant of pasta types such as spaghetti, cannelloni, linguini, fettuccini, ravioli, lasagna just to name a few.
The Sea Clams Linguini prepared with linguini pasta, tossed with generous portion of clams was tangy and nice. The seafood aglio olio pasta was heightened with garlic, fresh herbs, tomatoes and red chilli was addictive.

Overall, dining here can be a little pricey, but considering the good food, imported ingredients used and the great ambience, it makes sense to come here for a romantic dinner or even catch up with family and friends for an Italian dining experience! BON APPETITE !
