Sandakan Food Festival 2019: From 13th to 15th September 2019, the Sandakan Food Festival will have food events spread across Sandakan Town which includes cooking and baking competitions, cooking workshops, food demos, food & craft events and culminating in the Grand Food Festival Village setup at Bandar Kim Fung, a lively suburb 10 minutes’ drive from the city centre.

We are here to witness the launching of this annual food event in Sandakan. At the site ground zero Bandar Kim Fung, they were a huge crowd of foodies waiting in anticipation to taste out dishes that are prepared by the hotels, restaurants, cafes and eating outlets throughout Sandakan.

The 2nd Sandakan Food Festival is back by popular demand this September, in a new format that includes the rich agricultural output of Sandakan Town. Known now as the Sandakan Food & Agriculture Festival, it will offer a diverse spread of amazing food dishes, as well as amazing produce, is grown from the hinterland.
