Besides the twinkling lights, glitter and gourmet menus galore, Sofitel Kuala Lumpur Damansara has collaborated with a Malaysia-based French Pop Art Gallery, Gallery des artistes to highlight the glamour of French fashion. Titled “Unmistakeably French”, those art pieces and sculptures will be showcased through the sprawling lobby of the hotel between 25 November 2019 and 29 February 2020.
With more than 15 works all from France, the works on display are from a variety of mediums from paintings to sculptures to glass art with jewellery, the “Unmistakeably French” exhibition represents the latest trends in contemporary art. The art pieces and sculptures specially curated by the Gallery’s Founder, Edith HO for the hotel, represents quintessential French elegance in fashion and at the same time pays tribute to French refinements and style. It also focuses on certain fashion icons, designers, and models such as Coco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld and Kate Moss.
