It's been a while since I last dined at The Inn Of Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant at Holiday Villa Hotel & Conference Centre Subang. This old school restaurant has been around for as long as I can remember for many decades catering to local folks staying in Subang. The Inn Of Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant is famous for its Chinese delicacies focusing on serving Cantonese cuisine and dim sum too.

We chanced upon this restaurant during my last visit to the Holiday Villa Hotel during the Christmas Tree Lighting. Although refreshments and drinks were served during the event, the finger food and little canapes failed to fill our hungry tummy. So, right after the lighting ceremony, we adjourned for a delicious dinner, dining with some of the hotel's VIP guest from the press, The Star Group.

Spacious & Elegant Decor

Diners at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, The Inn Of Four Seasons, will be able to savour the variety in their ala carte menu for lunch or even dinner. Their pork-free menu has some amazing and unique creations while preserving some traditional must-haves such as Siew Mai (Chicken Dumplings) and Har Gow (Prawn Dumplings).

 Waiting Area To Be Seated

Dinner started off with their top favourites dim sum such as 'Siew Mai' Chicken Dumplings with Caviar, 'Har Gow' Fresh Prawns Dumplings, BBQ Chicken Bun With Honey Sauce, Pan Fried Radish Cake with Eggs, Beancurd Prawn Roll With Slice Cheese, Fried Yam Chicken Dumplings, Chef's Special Tai Zhi Fried Noodles, Hong Kong Kailan Duo Style - Stir Fried & Crispy Fried and last but not least, desserts of Chilled Sea Coconut.

BBQ Chicken Bun With Honey Sauce
RM 11

'Har Gow' Fresh Prawns Dumplings
RM 18

'Siew Mai' Chicken Dumplings with Caviar
RM 18

Beancurd Prawn Roll With Slice Cheese
RM 18

This is another winner in its own right - Sinfully delicious when deep fried with prawn paste and cheese that melt-in-the-mouth on the first bite. Beware this dish is addictive and you can't stop eating it!

Pan Fried Radish Cake with Eggs
RM 10

The notable dish is this Pan Fried Radish Cake with Eggs which feature an aromatic full-of-Wok Hei perfectly fried radish cake loaded with lots of bean sprouts, chives and eggs too. On top of that, surprisingly it was not oily at all unlike the usual radish cake dishes I tried elsewhere. Just loved the charred bits on the radish cake, elevating the taste of the whole dish!

Fried Yam Chicken Dumplings
RM 14

Chef's Special Tai Zhi Fried Noodles
RM 35

Next, there are Chef's signature noodles dish - namely the Tai Zhi Fried Noodles, which loosely translated to Prince Fried Noodles. The noodles were fine and al dente, not oily too - totally drool-worthy with noodles fried with a plethora of seafood offerings such as white squid, scallop and prawns. Served with a generous topping of chopped coriander, the noodles had a nice aroma, thus making it even more appetising.

Hong Kong Kailan Duo Style - Stir Fried & Crispy Fried
RM 35

Chinese Pancake
RM 20

Chilled Sea Coconut
RM 11 Per Serving

For a sweet yet cold ending to the meal, we had the refreshing Chilled Sea Coconut for dessert. It was indeed a nice treat due to the hot weather that night.
