My family and I were truly delighted when invited to taste and review one of the biggest ever Ramadan food-tasting session at Bangi Golf Resort (BGR) Restaurant recently. This, in fact, is one of my favourite Ramadan event that I look forward too as it was more like a gathering or Get-Together-Party for bloggers with their family members and friends as well.

A crowd favourite is certainly the lamb, a common feature at many hotels and restaurants during Ramadan. At Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya, the executive chef and his team are preparing Roasted Whole Lamb, a speciality of the hotel.

Meat lovers tucking in happily with the roasted lamb was tender and juicy, with its meat falling off the bone. Choose your choice of dipping sauce from black pepper to mushroom sauce to enjoy it to the max.

As Muslims wait eagerly for the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, Bangi Golf Resort located at Bandar Baru Bangi, is abuzz with the preparation of traditional Malay, Western and Oriental cuisines favourites - a hearty meal that is sure to satisfy your hunger pangs after a long day of fasting. 

Food Extravaganza

Throughout the month of Ramadan, Chef Kamaruddin and his protege have created a lavish Iftar or "Breaking Fast" buffet menu to appeal to the most discerning of tastes. Bangi Golf Resort is known serving up a gastronomic buffet that offers both variety and quality, BGR Restaurant will once again offer a sumptuous spread of up to 200 selections laid across the buffet line with stalls to place live stations.

HALAL certified by JAKIM, BGR Restaurant is one of the very few golf resorts in Malaysia to receive this special accreditation since 2009.

SOUS VIDE Eggs 

Make  sure you start off your meal with BGR Signature Dish, the SOUS VIDE Eggs. A winner in its own right, you cannot find this dish served anywhere else in town, especially for the SOUS VIDE Eggs that serves with Mushroom Espuma. 

It's one of the popular and favourites among diners as you will see a beeline at SOUS VIDE Eggs live station.

Savour BGR Restaurant's signature dishes at the Western section, highlighting with a gastronomic touch such as Cream of Smoked Chicken, hearty and the classic option of Beef or Chicken Lasagna and Classic Chicken Spaghetti Carbonara which are always a family favourite too!

Nasi Kerabu

The kitchen team is proud to introduce the Selera Pantai Timur, also known as the famous Kelantan local delicacy as one of the main attractions to the buffet spread this year. Look out for BGR Restaurant's Nasi Kerabu, a rice dish served with ulam, fried salted fish, fish crackers and selection of garnishing.
