Mantin Maroon Grill Fish Restaurant In Negeri Sembilan
Food Hunting Till Mantin: When my daughter returns, we love eating out and seeking the best seafood cuisine! We heard about this seafood restaurant somewhere in Mantin and were keen or rather curious to try out their famous Signature Salt Grilled Fish!
Signature Salted Grilled Fish
RM 59.90 (Big)
Must Order Food has to be their "Signature Salted Grilled Fish" RM 59.90 (Big) ~ The 1kg Tilapia was huge, and the meat was juicy and fresh. The dipping sauce was fragrant but freaking spicy, but an excellent sauce to eat with the fish if you can tahan or withstand the spiciness.

Treasure Box Spicy Grill Platter
RM 53.90
The "Treasure Box Spicy Grill" Platter, RM 53.90, was quite tasty, especially with the fresh, juicy Prawns, Lala, Fish, and Squid soaking in the fragrant spicy Kam Heong sauce. The seafood platter arrived at our table, nicely presented and loaded with a mixed selection of seafood, looking so appetizing!
Eat-At-Own-Risk
Grilled Chicken Wings
RM 7.90 For 1x Pair
(Minimum Order Is Two Pairs)
The Grilled Chicken Wings were a depressing dish to order after what we had. It was not well marinated & quite tasteless; even my hubby, Uncle Hong, says, "I can do better than them. They dun even bother to marinade cukup-cukup before grilling!" So these 2 pairs of Grilled Wings can skip ordering, costing us RM 15.80 as the minimum order is 2 pairs (RM 7.90/pair). Sedap, never mind la, but we ended with 4 chicken wings that could have been more tasty.
Outdoor Dining
Seating At The 1st Hall
Oh yes, one more issue. Beware of the lalats! We were fighting with the flies while dining there. It was an unpleasant and stressful experience I wish not to go through again.
Neat & Spacious Indoor Seating
The cashier told me to avoid dining from 5:30pm To 7pm if you wanted to avoid being swarmed by them. The flies are seriously a nuisance, especially when we're eating there, and it was very unhygienic to have them landing on our dinner!
Let me share my 2 cents here ~ Would I come back again? High chance I won't. Driving out of town to small-town restaurants that charge such high prices for their seafood dishes isn't worth the trip for me. I can easily get good and fresh seafood in Klang Valley for the same price, if not cheaper.
