Perfect food for a hearty vegetarian breakfast or tea-time treats, thin and crispy appam with a soft fluffy centre tastes delicious. In addition, they are gluten-free and vegan.
Our favourite at Chelo's has to be their Coconut Appam, affordably priced at RM 3.20, you get to taste fluffy appam cooked with brown sugar and topped with fragrant coconut which is delicately sweet, light ‘n crispy along the edges and fluffy ‘n soft in the centre. Comes served with some sweet coconut milk too!

Tosai also known as Dosa or Dosai in Tamil is a thin crepe or pancake, an ever-popular South Indian breakfast or snack in India as well as in the rest of the world. Cripsy and healthy, delicious and filling vegan dish served with chutney and dhal curry.
My family and I really enjoyed eating the Tosai at Chelo's as they come with 3 tasty sides of Dhal Curry, Mango and Coconut Chutney. My son can just eat the Coconut Chutney on its own, so yummy he says!
