Guests at the launch event were treated to a preview of the feast, with over 200 mouth-watering specials from Malaysia such as the Rendang Tok from Perak, an Ikan Bakar station, a whole roasted lamb and much more. From Indonesia, the very authentic Soto Betawi originating from Jakarta, Tongseng from Central Java, Ayam Pop Minang from West Sumatra, the legendary Nasi Goreng Kambing ala Kebun Sireh, Mie Tek Tek and much more. After the launch of “Iftar ‘Kuliner’ Nusantara” Food Preview, Senior General Manager of Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Mr Wilfred Yeo guided H.E Ambassador Hermono and the Chief Executive Officer of Batik Air, Captain Mushafiz Mustafa Bakri through the various Ramadan specials. H.E Ambassador Hermono shared his delight and excitement about collaborating with the Indonesian Embassy and Sunway Putra Hotel Kuala Lumpur for the upcoming iftar and future partnerships.
