As we know, steamboat everywhere usually catered for non-Muslims, so their hotel's Chinese chef decided to create a Halal-Certified variety of steamboat for Muslim diners to enjoy at their hotel.

Now you can have a steamy affair at Cafe 5 with their Halal-Certified 'Sensational Steamboat' Semi Buffet on weekdays offering a variety of halal fresh ingredients in homemade chicken broth or Tom Yam broth.

Comes with a steamboat pot and gas stove, each steamboat platter with more than over 20 steamboat items including brown cuttlefish, seabass fish fillet, sea prawns, flower crab, mussels, clams, seasoned baby octopus (Chuka Iidako), crabsticks, fishballs, smoked duck breast, chicken meat, deep-fried Four Seasons roll, prawn dumplings, enoki mushrooms, Shitake mushrooms, soft beancurd, corn-on-cob, turnip slices, eggs, yellow noodles, Bee Hoon, Chinese cabbage  and Baby Romaine lettuce.

Always remember to start your meal with salad and fruits on an empty stomach before indulging on the mains. After a satisfying meal of steamy hot steamboat, we sat down to sweet treats of cakes, pudding and jellies. These desserts are simply too pretty and inviting and it would be a sin not to try any of them. My favourites are the agar-agar, mango pudding, Blueberry cheesecakes, Kuih Ketayap and Kuih Talam.

Currently, Pearl International Hotel is running a Special Group Promotion of '3+1 DEAL' where for every 3 paying guests, the 4th dines for FREE! So for a group of 4 diners, each guest is paying only RM28.50 nett per pax. Truly a good deal for group dining.  

  

LADIES NITE PROMOTION ~ Every Wednesday RM2+ Per Pax

Oh yes, here's another unbelievable crazy promotion in conjunction with the hotel's forthcoming 20th Anniversary Celebrations. Female diners need only pay RM2+ per person for the LADIES NITE OFFERS ON EVERY WEDNESDAY. 

Prior reservation is required with booking on a week-to-week basis. So diners must make the reservation on Thursday (the earliest day they accept booking) if they want to dine on the following Wednesday. Be quick and early as seats are limited to 50 ladies per night and 4 ladies per booking - First Come, First Serve Basis.   

One more tip from me, mark your calendar to call and book your table on Thursday morning as early as 6am as that's the time Cafe 5 opens for business. I'm planning to go back and dine with my daughters this time around, so wish me luck and I probably be waking up at 6am on one of those Thursday in November to book our seats too!
