Merdeka celebrations are just around the corner and what better time to celebrate our National Day with Malaysia all-time favourite classic dish of Nasi Lemak! Pancake House, the famous pancake outlet in Klang Valley is taking this opportunity to introduce Nasi Lemak Pancake, a brand new menu in line with our Malaysia's rich and vibrant culinary culture.

In conjunction with the celebration of Merdeka Day and Malaysia Day, Pancake House is offering the delicious version of nasi lemak ~ Nasi Lemak Pancake from now till 30 September 2017. Since they are synonymous with serving amazingly tasty light and fluffy pancake, their version of nasi lemak comes with a pandan-flavoured pancake instead of santan rice, sandwiched in between spicy sambal and sliced cucumbers.
Being a great fan of nasi lemak, I was at first quite skeptical on how good this revised version can be. Well, after tasting I have to say that despite not having the regular rice with sambal, it was pretty good. Served with fried chicken, sunny side up, fried ikan bilis, peanuts with pandan-flavoured pancakes, they aced in the good-tasting sambal that goes well with the savoury pancakes!
Diners can order the Pancake Nasi Lemak Set Meal which comes with a drink of Cendol Cooler for RM 27.90 only. Alternatively, the ala carte Nasi Lemak Pancake is priced RM 19.90. Other than this, there are also the Add On Options of 2 pc Mini Pancake for RM 1.99, any soup for RM 2.99 or 2 pc mini Pancake + Any soup for RM 3.99.

Daing Na Bangus (Pickled Deboned Milkfish)

Deboned Milkfish marinated in a special house blend sauce and pan-fried to golden perfection served with garlic rice and mango salsa.
The fish is superb in taste and texture while it has been deboned, I found it easy to eat too. The garlic rice hits all the high notes and it goes well with the fish, egg, salad and mango salsa too.

If rice dishes does not appeal to you, maybe you can try their House Burger. It's a juicy burger patty with mushroom, chicken strips, lettuce, and tomato on a toasted bun served fries and salad on the side.

Pancake lovers will fall in love with the Blueberry Pancake for its moist, soft and fluffy blueberry -filled golden pancake with syrup. The blueberry sauce was not too sweet and complemented the golden pancakes.

Waffle Foldover

Delightful golden waffle on the outside, peanut butter served with 2 giant scoops of vanilla ice cream and candy-coated choco bites on the inside.
The serving portion for the Waffles Foldover is large, so sharing this mouth-watering dessert will be a good idea. The waffles are crisp and light with creamy vanilla ice cream. Eating this can be tricky, don't wait and must eat it as soon as it served to avoid the waffles being soggy when the ice cream melts.
