While the flavours may not win any culinary awards, the meal is acceptable, filling, and satisfying — perfect for anyone looking for a simple, no-frills lunch.

As for my plate, I wasn’t a fan of the masak kicap gravy — it leaned too sweet for my liking. If I return, I’ll definitely request fish or chicken curry instead, and skip the overly sweet masak kicap topping.
