Laksa Lemak is a quintessential Penang delicacy, blending local flavours with the cultural history of Nyonya Baba. This traditional dish, a beloved part of Penang's identity, features the freshest Tuna fish, adding a healthy twist with pure coconut milk and stone sugar. The creamy 'Kelapa Mawar Santan' coconut milk brand elevates the dish's rich coconut milk flavour, making it a winner for those who love wholesome, flavourful eating.

The broth, a harmonious mix of lemongrass, mint leaves, and torch ginger flower (Bunga Kantan), bursts with aromatic, tangy goodness. Sliced onions, julienned cucumber, lime, and pineapple slices enhance the perfect pairing with the tuna fish-laden gravy. A drizzle of prawn paste and chili flakes over your bowl of laksa will do wonders for an extra kick of umami and spiciness.

Uncle Lim's Laksa Lemak uses thick rice noodles that soak up the broth beautifully, enhancing the dish's texture. The tuna fish chunks, shredded pineapple, cucumber, lettuce, and onion create a wholesome culinary experience that tantalizes your taste buds.

Key ingredients like chili, galangal (lengkuas), lemongrass, fresh turmeric, shallots, garlic, and torch ginger flower (Bunga Kantan) build the base of Laksa Lemak's rich broth. Unlike the typical hawker stall Asam Laksa, which uses local mackerel (Ikan Kembung), Uncle Lim opts for premium, boneless Tuna, providing his customers the best value and ease of eating.

So Good To The Last Spoon!

To top it all, Uncle Lim chooses dried laksa noodles for their lighter, less oily texture compared to regular rice noodles, ensuring a healthier choice.
