Themed 'Juadah Kampung Buffet Dinner' The Federal Hotel Kuala Lumpur spotlights time-tested traditional fare this year. My family and I were invited to taste and review their buffet offerings consisting of over 100 traditional dishes featuring a mammoth spread of authentic kampung delicacies and traditional delights complemented with favourite local flavours at the Kontiki Restaurant.

The 'Juadah Kampung Kampung Buffet Dinner' is priced at RM 138nett/adult, RM 35nett/child & RM 69nett/senior citizen and it's available from 25 May to 14 Jun 2018 from 7pm to 9:30pm nightly. There's also a DISCOUNT of 30% OFF for members of Gracious Rewards & FHI Privilege Club.

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, the management and staff of Federal Hotels International (FHI) and FHI Group of Hotels namely The Federal Hotel Kuala Lumpur and Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur had come together to spread some festive cheers to children from the Rumah Nur Kasih Bestari at their recent Ramadan Buffet at Kontiki Restaurant too.

Making a point to allow diners to enjoy a taste of home, the chefs at Kontiki Restaurant had prepared large varieties of ulam-ulam kampung and kerabu with selection of ikan masin, tauhu sumbat, acar buah, acar rampai, tempe goreng,  pedas, ikan rabus goreng, Kerabu mangga, Kerabu Daging, Kerabu Taugeh, Kerabu Kacang Kacang Botol, just to name a few.

  2. So many menus for their Ramadhan buffet. I rarely eat duck but i loved the roasted duck with orange sauce here. Not bad! Not even had a chance to try the kuih muih cause already full 🤣
