My family and I were totally delighted to be invited to Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya to be part of their 20th Anniversary Celebration recently on May 1st, 2017. Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya has recently completed the renovation of its all-day-dining restaurant, rebranding Cafe Lavista after 10 years of operation to FUNTASIA, A Magical Culinary Experience!
This joyous occasion also marks Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya's 20th Year Anniversary of hospitality services since its inception in May 1997. The hotel was formerly known as Hotel Equatorial Bangi-Putrajaya and was rebranded in 2014 to Hotel Bangi-Putrajaya.

The new restaurant - FUNTASIA features a much larger dining area with a seating capacity of 800 pax and bigger space for its popular buffet spread. The modern and playful decor is designed to reflect the carnival-like and funfair theme of the restaurant.
Comfortable furniture and fittings in the colour scheme of bright cheery orange, soothing turquoise and subtle grey are used throughout the restaurant while floor to ceiling window provides plenty of natural lighting for the feel of spaciousness.
The bold design harmonises perfectly with a relaxing ambience, allowing diners to melt comfortably into a unique dining experience. FUNTASIA also offer outdoor dining, where breezy terrace overlooks the poolside garden and Bangi Golf Resort's 27 holes golf course.
This is a perfect location to enjoy a lazy breakfast as its strategic location blocks out the morning sun, hence providing a very comfortable alfresco environment even till 12noon.
FUNTASIA is a buffet restaurant that serves up tempting local cuisine, delightful western favourites as well as other dedicated "action stalls' where teams of talented and friendly chefs perform a gastronomical symphony. Diners will be brought on a journey that promises to excite their palate, delight their senses and transport them to a culinary wonderland.

As patrons walk into the restaurant, they will be awed by the restaurant's 12-foot tall Ferris Wheel positioned right at the entrance, carrying 'Epicurean Passengers' meticulously prepared by the hotel's culinary team.
The hotel believes that the unique and fun Ferris-Wheel is the first of its kind in Malaysia, fitting seamlessly with the theme of the restaurant.
