GOBO Chit Chat at Traders Hotel KLCC is pulling out all the stops this Ramadan with a seasonal menu of Asian and Western flavours in its restaurants. From 18 June to 16 July 2015, GOBO Chit Chat will be having its 'Selera Malaysia Buffet Dinner' promotion, in conjunction with a time when Malaysians gather their families and friends to celebrate love and friendships.

Patrons will be spoilt for choice when breaking fast with GOBO Chit Chat's Selera Malaysia Ramadan Buffet. There will be a wide assortment of delicacies prepared daily and rotated so customers never get bored.

While traditional dishes are the highlight of the season, there are also a vast selection of the other local and Western dishes to indulge in. Auntie Lilly of FollowMeToEatLa had the opportunity to sample some of the traditional kampung fare that was sure to evoke nostalgia.

Featuring favourite Malaysian cuisines, such as Ayam Masak MerahRendang Daging, Ikan Merah Asam Pedas,  Tiger Prawn Petai with others four hawker stalls highlighting famous Malaysian dishes: 'Goreng-goreng', a stall for deep fried food items; 'Nasi Briyani', where the chefs will showcase authentic wholesome briyani rice, 'Manisan', a station of local desserts; and 'Rojak Sotong Kangkung', a Malaysian salad dish whose main ingredients are squid and water spinach.

Crabs lovers are definitely in for a gastronomic dining experience as the buffets are serving not only one but two mud crabs dishes for its diners. Remember to look out for the Chilli Crab and Claypot Butter Crab under the Chinese cuisines section. The crab, which comes in spicy sauce and creamy butter sauce, is easy to eat as the shells are cooked until soft. Although they do not require too much cracking, the flesh of the crab remains fresh and tasty!

Making its mark is the Japanese food section in the Ramadan Buffet, featuring the freshest of the fresh sashimi, sushi and maki roll at the Sushi Bar. The Sushi chef in attendance shall fulfils diners' request for a vary choices of sashimi upon request. Diners can catch a glimpse of the team of sushi chefs rolling out colourful masterpieces of sushi to entice diners' palates.
