Truly a lovely Hakka dish, this Abacus Seeds (Suan Pan Zi or 算盘子) is prepared with an extra dose of love, loaded with everything from minced pork, dried cuttlefish strips, Shiitake mushroom, Black Fungus, Chee Yau Char and of course, those cute and chewy handmade little jewels of Abacus Seeds!

Delicious to eat, these yam Abacus are soft on the outside, chewy on the inside and full of strong yam aroma. Stella's mom has prepared it exactly to how an authentic Hakka dish should be.
