Love Food, Hate Waste is a campaign originated in the United Kingdom in the year 2007 with the aim of reducing the amount of food waste. The campaign has been promoted and circulated by many other countries to help save money and stopping tonnes of food waste being thrown away. Wasting food means that all the resources used to produce that food are also wasted, for example, water, land and fuel.
