BEST FISH HEAD NOODLE IN SRI PETALING
RESTORAN ALISON 阿里山茶餐室
Good Food Doesn't Need To Be Fancy! Take these two classics Soupy-Licious Noodles for instance - Last week, I happened to try out one of the stalls at Restoran Alison 阿里山茶餐室 located at Sri Petaling in Kuala Lumpur.
Restoran Alison 阿里山茶餐室
70, Jalan Radin Anum 1
Restoran Alison 阿里山茶餐室, a corner shop 'Kopitiam' has been around for ages with everything you wanna eat under-one-roof with Pan Meen, Wanton Noodles, Chee Cheong Fun, Roast Chicken Rice, Prawns Noodles, Hokkien Mee, Fried Rice, Porridge, and also this very famous Fish Head Noodles stall!
Fried Fish Noodles In Creamy Soup
RM 11
Fish Paste Noodles In Clear Soup
RM 7
With the COVID19 dining restriction, my hubby and I decided to take away rather than dining in with the crowds in the restaurant. In fact, we were there to tapau from the Pan Meen stall but I noticed that majority of the dine-in customers were all enjoying food from the Fish Head Noodles stall! So my son and I opted for this while my hubby tries out the Pan Meen which was so-so only.
Many Variations Of Noodles Soup To Choose From
A quick check at his menu revealed that the stall offers a large selection from the classic Creamy Fish Head Noodles, Tomyam Soup Noodles to White Tomyam and even the Spicy Mala Soup. Be prepared to wait for at least 10 to 15 mins for your food to arrive as this is one of the busier stalls to eat from, ya!
It was so good with hearty bowls of tummy-warming Fried Fish Noodles In Creamy Soup (RM11) and Fish Paste Noodles In Clear Soup (RM7). An abundance of good stuff in every bowl!
Deep-Fried Fish Fillets
Fried Fish Noodles In Creamy Soup
I enjoyed eating the Fried Fish Noodles In Creamy Soup, which comes with a huge portion of deep-fried fish fillets while Fish Paste Noodles In Clear Soup was equally as delicious as bouncy tender fresh fish paste in flavourful soup cooked with cabbage and tomatoes.
The boss says that you can top up RM3 for the creamier white soup too. Oh well, my son was just happy to be indulging in the favourite fish paste noodles in the sweet-tasting clear soup without the addition of evaporated milk to further enhance the flavour of the soup.
One of my favourites for now... Definitely worth seeking out for some of the best eats in Sri Petaling! I will try out their Creamy Tomyam together with the Spicy Mala the next time I drop by at Restoran Alison.
