My hubby, Uncle Hong and I were invited to the McDonald's Malaysia Ramadan Festive Menu launch last week at one of McDonald's outlet located at Mutiara Damansara in Petaling Jaya. They launched not one but two new menu offerings for its customers that are not only looking for delicious but a satisfying and fulfilling meal during the holy month of Ramadan.

Throughout the month of Ramadan, diehards McDonald’s customers can choose between two exclusive offerings – the all-new Nasi McD and the return of the Chicken Foldover - which are now available in all McDonald’s restaurants and will be sold from now until 5 June 2019.
Nasi McD Set
1 pc Ayam Goreng McD RM 13.65
2 pc Ayam Goreng McD RM 16.95
The all-new Nasi McD - Caters to all rice lovers who must have rice to break their fast. Enjoy a hearty plate of fragrant Nasi McD paired with everyone's favourite crispy crunch McDonald's spicy Ayam Goreng McD, together with an all-new Curry Sauce that customers can add-on to heightened the tasting experience. You need only pay RM 1.50 for each add-on of the curry sauce.
It's available with a choice of either 1 piece for small eaters or 2 pieces of Ayam Goreng McD for the big eaters. The awesome set comes with a medium coleslaw and a medium iced lemon tea, for a complete meal that's absolutely perfect for buka puasa!
The Nasi McD Set with 1 piece of Ayam Goreng McD, coleslaw and iced lemon tea starts from RM 13.65, while the 2 pieces of Ayam Goreng McD costs RM 16.95.
For those looking for a lighter meal to buka puasa, McDonald's Malaysia new menu offering also brings back an all-time-hot-favourite - the Chicken Folder. This tasty comeback features two delicious perfectly grilled, juicy chicken patties topped with fresh lettuce and tomatoes, sliced onions and an all-new special sauce, all wrapped in a warm toasted flatbread.

In addition to the Nasi McD and the Chicken Foldover, customers can also look forward to a range of desserts exploding with local flavours. Not only is McDonald’s bringing back the D24 Durian McFlurry – which is always a hit with customers. Delicious soft serve with D24 Durian makes this the perfect dessert for any occasion!
For customers that are on the go, or for customers who want to complement their meals with a sweet and refreshing beverage, McDonald’s menu line-up also offers the Sarsaparilla Cones and the new McCafe Ice Blended Ribena.

For the holy month of Ramadan, all 270 McDonald's restaurants in Malaysia will be organising a weekly moreh (after prayer meals) at various local mosques. Through this initiative, McDonald's aims to strengthen ties and build strong relationships with the communities. Apart from this, they shall be hosting orphanages for buka puasa treat during the month of Ramadan.
