Hakka Yong Tau Foo
RM 2 Per Piece

The Very Big Piece Of Stuffed Eggplant

Priced at RM 2 per piece, these Yong Tau Foo pieces are huge, giving you incredible value for your money. The Stuffed Eggplants, particularly, are massive —check out my photo to see just how generous they are!

Prepared in the traditional Hakka style with sweet bean paste (Tau Cheong), these delights soak up all that savoury goodness, making them a perfect match with rice. It's my go-to takeaway food when I am lazy or too busy to cook.

Claypot Fish Curry
RM 35

Another absolute must-try is their Claypot Fish Curry—creamy, aromatic, and bursting with fresh herbs and spices. The fish swims in a rich, flavorful gravy that balances spicy and tangy. Its firm, flaky white flesh pairs wonderfully with its variety of curries—best enjoyed with steamed white rice!

Apart from these two favourites of mine, their specialties are home-style dishes such as Poached Chicken (Pak Cham Kai), Braised Pork Belly With Yam, Steamed Three Coloured Eggs, Claypot Tofu, Steamed Fish, Braised Chicken with Bitter Gourd, and many more!

Wipe Clean Plates, Pot & Bowls!

If you happen to be nearby, drop by to try out these authentic Hakka cuisines at Wai Kei on Old Klang Road. I'm sure you would be disappointed with their offerings, but come early for lunch as it gets crowded, especially on the weekends.
