Food hunting again with my hubby and son to discover Tamas Corner, a hidden gem at the heart of Kuala Lumpur in Brickfields! My foodie family enjoys spicy food, and Indian cuisine is one of our favourite dishes to order when dining out!

Brickfields is mostly known for its plethora of eateries, with plenty of delicious BLF aka Banana leaf Rice restaurants and roadside stalls around you offering a range of cuisines for you to choose from.

Tamas Corner is a little-known food stall located in Kompleks TLK, an undiscovered gem hidden in a foodcourt or Medan Selera, perhaps it’s a longtime favourite that locals want to keep secret. A chat with the boss revealed that they have been around for decades operating from a roadside stall before shifting into the food court.

With the enticing colours of the meat and vegetables with the aroma of the curries, we were so tempted to take a portion of each dish. Anyway, I just had to have my favourite chicken dish - Chicken Varuval to go with my 'Nasi Banjir' with all 3 curries gravies - Dhal, Fish and Chicken Curry.

Our tasty meal with Chicken Varuval with one choice of Vegetables + Rice + Condiments comes to RM 9 with a huge serving or portion of the Chicken Varuval (Self-Service Style) while it's only RM 7.50 if they pick for you!
