Auntie Lilly and her family were delighted to be invited to sample the festive menu offered by Summer Palace, the halal Chinese Restaurant at Putrajaya Marriott Hotel under the tutelage of Executive Chinese Chef James Chai Chuan Suing. We were treated to Prosperity Yee Sang together with the Fatt Choy Feast of an eight-course menu for a delectable festive culinary experience.
SUMMER PALACE CHINESE RESTAURANT, PUTRAJAYA MARRIOTT HOTEL welcomes a roaring new year with a repertoire of dishes by Executive Chinese Chef James Chai Chuan Suing. Chef James grew up surrounded by the talented chefs of his loving parents who hails from a humble background.
Skilled with Hakka and Teow Chew cuisines, Chef James went on to pursue gaining experience by exploring from one Chinese kitchen to another and has inspired to create a modern interpretation of ingredients such as caviar, truffle and foie gras to a traditional Chinese cuisine which is now known as modern Chinese cuisine.

Fatt Choy Feast consists of three specially prepared menus by Chef James; Golden Set at RM 2888 per table of 10 persons, Diamond Set at RM 1988 per table of 10 persons and Jade Set at RM 1788 per table of 10 persons. Each menu symbolizes the essence of purity, prosperity, togetherness and most importantly unity. Doesn’t matter if the occasion is for the closing of the year or the opening of the Lunar New Year, most importantly it’s the celebration as everyone comes together.
