Oh yes, did I mentioned that these amazing NIO earphones have an outstanding battery life of 20 hours. Apart from that, it's also equipped with an Adaptive Dual Microphone Technology which filters out unwanted background noise while you're on a call, while the 4 wing sizes allow you to find your own comfortable soundscape. 

SUDIO NIO has two microphones on each side of the earbuds. In total, NIO offers four microphones with adaptive dual-microphone technology that adjusts the microphones according to ambient noise to deliver a clear voice or sound. 

SUDIO NIO is earphones for the people. Versatile, reliable performance with IPX4 rated ingress protection, meaning rain will never ruin your listening parade. On top of that, it's also fitted with the amazing feature of touch panel control with automatic pairing and comfortable fit make it a joy to use.

The box comes with the earphones and the charging case itself, 3 extra sets of wingtips, a USB C charging cable and some multilingual user guide with other documentation.

Design-wise, the NIO’s glossy charging case is quite compact and easy to slip in a pocket. The earphones themselves, they are a familiar design that makes it easy to grip them and are also made of the same glossy plastic, except for the touch panel part which is textured differently.

The NIO also come with 4 different sizes of wing tips, I would recommend you take the time to see which one fits the best to provide the best sound quality out of them. It won’t seal like a normal in-ear but will sit securely in your ear. I have found the smallest ones to be the most natural-sounding and with the best fit, while the bigger ones allow more of your environment in.

Using the NIO was simple, the pairing procedure worked flawlessly, though it wasn’t clear how to do so until I read the manual and noticed the hidden button on the bottom of the charging case. They wake up as soon as you remove them from the charging case, and pair automatically to the last device.

If you have a supported device, you can easily check the battery of the earphones themselves, but I wish there was an easier way to tell the charge level of the case, perhaps some multicoloured LEDs rather than just two colours. Back to the earphones, they are easy to put on, and the touch control is handy, although you’ll need a bit of time to learn the gestures.

When placed back in the charging case, they will conveniently switch off, and the charge indicators will flash. I heavily appreciate the implementation of USB C, where most modern phones are moving towards this connector, more devices should follow suit as it makes it easy to charge.

Sound-wise, the Nio responds better to bass although I have found this to vary depending on the wing tip you choose and how it fits in your ear. However, the mids and highs are still mostly clear, making them ideal for listening to audiobooks or commentary. 

One noticeable tidbit about them as mentioned earlier is how they don’t seal like in-ears or earbuds, which might be a bonus for outside use as you can still hear the outside world a bit and be aware of your surroundings.

All in all, I like the SUDIO NIO for casual listening and were having fewer wires are ideal, such as when I’m moving about outside. The battery life is more than enough for a day of binging your favourite tracks, provide you take a break occasionally to let them recharge in their case.
